Ski Length Guide

Only want to own one pair of skis? You should reconsider that. But if forced, reach for the Peak 98. It leaves trenches on hardpack and blows up powder.

If you ask us, the Peak 98 is the ski that 80 percent of skiers should be piloting 80 percent of the time. It’s that versatile. Looking at nothing but groomers today? You can cruise at family speeds or blast super-G turns. Off-trail in powder, crud, chalk, or corn, it’s nimble and floaty enough for all but the deepest of resort days. The 98 defines the all-mountain category.

Like the sounds of the Peak 98 but looking for something lighter weight and suited for inbound hikes? Pop on over to our Peak 98 by Dav skis. The slightly softer flex and weight savings make it a top pick for the backcountry crowd and women skiers too.

Free Shipping

We offer free shipping on any purchases over €50 within the European Union. That applies to returns too.

Elsewhere else in the world, the customer pays shipping, duties and fees, which is all easily calculated with our FedEx app at checkout.

Free Returns

Don't love your skis? Exchange or return for a full refund. If you receive your new Peak skis in the summer or fall, you have until December 31st of that year to return them for another set of skis or a full refund. (That way you have time to ski on them in December.) If you buy and receive your skis after December 31st, you have 30 days to ski them and decide.

Warranty

While unlikely, it’s possible that you will receive a pair of skis with a minor flaw. It’s also possible, while out enjoying your skis, something goes wrong with them that is unrelated to the ski conditions or environment. Should a circumstance arise where you discover a flaw after putting your skis on snow, and you are the original owner, we will happily replace them for up to three years from the date of purchase. Enjoying your skis is paramount; if enjoying your skis results in damage to the skis from any number of hazards that exist in the mountain environment, we trust that you’ll understand if we have a tough time replacing them due to conditions or circumstances outside of Peak’s realm of influence.

Whats Under the Hood

If not for the KeyHole™—and our dedication to delivering a smooth flex in each length—the 88 might come off as burly. Two full sheets of metal sandwich a paulownia and ash core and the bottom alloy runs “over the keys” in ski engineer speak. What the hell does that mean? The ski’s edges offer more bite.

But don’t get scared off. Because the 88 is built around our concept of “accessible power,” it only skis as hard as you do.

Firm to the snow.

I’m 5’ 11” on 178cm and have always felt like skis with similar length and width give out. The peak skis hold strong to every turn and are fun to flex.

My background is alpine ski racing and these skis (peak 98) carve the perfect, relaxed GS turn.

In addition, the PEAK long sleeve t shirts are awesome—definately recommend getting one to go with your new gear :)

Finally got to ski my new 98’s today at Heavenly! Jacked my elbow a few weeks ago, so all I could do was stare at them. From the very first run, they felt predictable and familiar - like I’d been on them for years. They live up to their “one ski for most any conditions” claims. Good thing Bode figured this out! Oh, and check out those blue bindings!

Awesome! I used them for the first time last week. The SkyHole technology really works. The 98s really held the turns on hardpacked snow. These skis felt so much better under foot than my Volkl M5s. Skiing the PEAK 98s reinforced my decision to make a small investment in the PEAK company.

After 2 runs I got the the balance point dialed in. Then the skis ripped iced corduroy all day.
They skied exactly as advertised!

Loving these. These skis can hold an edge like a race ski but don't take the same energy to do it. makes them way more forgiving in east coast garbage - but then ready to rip when it firms up on the scratchy days. You get what you give with these skis. But they reward you for the effort. Big fan.
